Kebab blues (Audio)

What could have happened in that kebab in the community of Yerres in the south of Paris ?
This is the mastery of this sound work, which brings us to the event in question with a burning desire to know. Far from being disappointed when the affair is revealed to us – a story of ordinary racism – this narrative has the effect of making us sensitive to what is being told to us. The polyphony of the voices gives rhythm to the whole, and also tells us how mute we can become when it happens to us, while at the same time having the desire that it will never happen again. All we needed was this story to give us the courage to revolt. (Sylvain Maino)
