While awaiting a response to their asylum request, Ibrahim and Ahmad are located in an accommodation center on the outskirts of Paris. In the small room that they occupy, a friendship between the two young men, who share their memories and doubts.
Against the waiting and the closed doors of the small room that they share, the two young men are countering a reedy and fragile fight where little spaces of freedom and hope are emerging. Learning french, changing the beds’ disposition, music, are many ways to face doubt and nostalgia. But their dawning friendship may be their most effective weapon. The camera, prisoner too, of that peculiar space-time, is filming the faces, records the exchanges, with the smallest amounts of means reflecting the situation of its two protagonists.
