Fares, 12, spends his days pacing the streets of Tunis with his friend Aziz.
From the very beginning, Fares appears to us as a small silhouette, roaming in a dark alley, not knowing where to go, alone. Desperately alone. Where is his family ? Where is his house ? This movie is the tender and delicate portrait of a childhood left on her own and seeking a future. In the almost deserted streets of Tunis, time seems to be frozen, giving up the kids to their own desolation. How to draw a convergence line with no perspective ? How to be fulfilled in spite the emptiness surrounding us ?For Fares, and his friend, Aziz, you got to move, dance, run, play… You got to escape boredom, whatever it costs, in order not to be engulfed in despair. And to keep searching for a fleeting happiness.
